I've now gone over 1 1/2 years without JK2 i keep getting the error "Cannot Load Default.cfg", "Cannot Load MPDefault.cfg" and now i'm pee'd off, it is not my CDROM causeing the error as lucas arts told me, it's not XP (i had it running b4) and it's not that any PK3 files are missing, but wen i start it up i noticed a perticular bit

JK2: v1.02a win-x86 Mar 4 2002

Initialising zone memory .....

----- FS_Startup -----

Current search path:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\assets1.pk3 (8011 files)

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\assets0.pk3 (6674 files)

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData/base

----------------------

14685 files in pk3 files

Running in restricted demo mode.

----- FS_Startup -----

Current search path:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData/demo

Couldn't load default.cfg

Notice the "Running in restricted demo mode."

and

"Current search path:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData/demo"

now i think that all the cannot load CFG errors are caused by this. does any1 have any ideas howto fix this?

LA doesn't seem concerned about this problem!

Just curious

have you tried

1) Deinstalling the game and deleting all folders in the derectory where you installed it and after that reinstalled the Game?

2) updated to version 1.4?

3) all current drivers installed ?

or what have you tried so far, to get the game running?
