Al's Skins is STILL linked off of the JKII.Net front page, but the skins page and the comic have been inaccessible for quite a while now. Here is a link to Al's OLD DCM page, in case you haven't seen it before. If anyone has any information about this, it'd be great to know. If there is another place where this question might be better answered, that would be great to know, too.
