Obsidian-Jovani
What is a good MP3 program that can record voices through a microphone that can be referenced in Single Player scripts?
bengar
In the past i've used a MiniDisk player with a stereo microphone to record my voices. Then i downloaded the voices and edited them on my Mac (or PC). The quality on the MiniDisk is good. If you dont have a MiniDisk or a soundediting program you can try getting the freeware program Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ I've used that to edit my sounds for JO. I have not tried using a mic to record with it though. Hope this helps Bengar
lassev
You always record your sounds as wave files. Only the last, final version after editing and all should be converted to .mp3. It's the same thing as with bitmaps versus jpegs. You can record the sound even with some windows recorder, but most probably for editing the sound you'll need some decent program. The recording itself can of course also be easier with programs like Goldwave. Most editing programs can save in mp3, I imagine.
