game crash onto chapter 9, jeep level ... need to put disc 2 in but ???

help!

 

i guess i will try a reinstall, but just after i finish off the lava monster and head toward the next chapter, chapter 9 the jeep level, the game asks for the insertion of disc 2 and after i do this it crashes, or more specificially shuts down =(

 

anyone else have this happen and is there a fix?

did an complete install and no more crash =)
