I was wondering which fan made scenario do you guys like best. Believe it or not I am beggining to lean towards playing only scenario's on the zone because players just cheat or use trainers in all the random map games. It's been awhile since you've been here but we've wanted to make some scenario reviews which should come in soon enough. Hehe...Sorry about the delay for those... Anyway on my part it's a SP scenario called Geonosian Battle Arena made by some guy named Bart Fett. It was really great except when you're playing with someone else then Yoda. Well the point of that scenario is to defeat all the opponents in the arena. It's some kind of fighting really interesting although quite hard(again if you're not playing Yoda). The triggers are well made and the made up story at the end of the scenario (if you win your last battle) are very funny and there's one for every character you can play with (which is a lot). That's pretty much the main reson this makes want to try every character. Besides from some gameplay problems like not playing with Yoda, the scenario is quite interesting (however a bit long tho). I'm sorry I can't put a link for this sccenario since it's been a while since I've dwnloaded it and now I can't find it again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pbguy1211 Posted July 5, 2003 Share Posted July 5, 2003 Senates are for newbs and noobs. Period. Completely pointless games. I've never seen a "trainer" in use, but I've heard of them. I've also been accused of using them which is something that's a lie and REALLY pisses me off. I don't like being called a cheater just because I kicked someone's ass badly and I know how to play the game and understand the units very well. My favorite scenario's are the Helm's Deep games that h20 made awhile back. Then again I'm a big LOTR fan... I also like World Blood a bit... but more often than not it's TF-Blood since you can't overpower their lack of prefabs at the start and they can make massive t1 armies while you're screwed making prefabs. However, MOST Zone scenario's suck because they're heavily in favor of the host and none are really balanced well and make for unfair games. See the Microsoft zone "Superhunters" are able to gather large quantities of food from gia, even on maps when there isnt much gia or aren't many gia immediately around their base! And ontop of that, the "Superhunters" can also gather, nova, ore, and carbon in addition to food from gia! Umm...bull****! Listen to this story!: I was on the zone, playing a game of Fort Blood. It was me(green), yellow, and purple. Well one of the guys on the other team dropped out. and that left teal and blue... Well we smashed blue and all that was left was teal. Well out of nowhere, yellow switches sides and launches a sneak attack on my base without telling us he was switching sides. So i recover from the attack and then I make it my personal goal to destroy yellow. WEll as the game progressed, I was kicking yellow's ass and purple was knocking on the doorstep of teal. Then all the sudden purple "stops winning". He went from being right at teal's base to getting hammered. What probably happened was, yellow and teal sent him a message saying, "Please loose so we can beat green!" So being that faggot that he was purple just lets he troops get blown to hell. I tell yellow, "no matter what happens yellow I will always be better than you"!. And i make good on my promise and I wipe out yellow. Now here's were it gets weird. Ok, my guys are finishing up yellow's base, then allt he sudden teal comes at me with about 50-70 yodas!!!!! I know what you're gonna say, "there's no cheat there...he just saved up his yoda's!" Ummm...no. If you play Fort Blood, heroes like yoda only come at a certain number at a time. For instance, my heroes were Jar Dracus and Jango Fett. I would only have 4 of each at any given time and I would never get any more until those 4 were dead. So I would only ever have 4 Jango Fett's at any given time. So, since Yoda is a hero, how did he end up with more than 4??? If you saying he "recruited" them from his jedi temple then you need to be slapped! THe answer is that he cheated. How? Yeah, I don't know. You want to know why I don't know. Its because I have more goin on in my life than to waste my time trying to unravel the mysteries of the zone. If I had to make a bet i'd say a trainer, or some kind of hack that lets you control gia or a hack that lets you start off with like 25 workers. Eiter or, the point is that all the so called pro's on the zone are cheaters and all the noobs are people who haven't figured out how to cheat yet! DarthMuffin Posted July 30, 2003 Share Posted July 30, 2003 My personal favourite is the Episode 1 campaign by SCN Punk and Vampire Slayer. You have a great campaign that covers the whole movie. IMO, it makes up for the lack of Naboo Campaign. Shadows of the Empire (based on the novel) by the same authors is also really good... Actually, all the SCN Punk Campaigns are really good...
