Guest dazed and confused
I'm having a problem that seems to be bugging a lot of others when they go after the Ice Monster at the end of level 4. Does anybody have a savegame for right after the monster is "wasted"? My competer locks up after I get the first shot off with the Urgon part, and I have to reboot. Just can't get past this part...would love to explore around in here before I exit the monster's lair, thereby continuing on to the next level. Thanks in advance for any help! Guest mazes
If you need a save game for any level PnArdy's page has them up to level 9. Here's the address: http://www.angelfire.com/games/indy3d/ Good luck ------------------ Like a mouse in a maze(s). After the Big Cheese! Guest dazed and confused
Thanks, I'll go there and get a savegame for the next level. One problem, though...I hate to abandon my own game. Worked SO hard to collect all 40 treasures up to this point, and I've earned a pretty high IQ. Think I'll file this savegame away...maybe a patch or a savegame editor will be in the works soon (like for the Tomb Raider games).
Guest Blair
We need some way to put up a FAQ on this site. If you want to keep your own game going, just go to the last game saved before you got Urgon's Part. Usually, this means replaying the whole level, but often that's faster than waiting for savegames in the mail. Don't save after you get Urgon's Part and before you leave the level. Not a biggie, since once you get the Part all you're going to do is clobber Cryo-Toad, anyway. --Blair
Guest dazed and confused
Thanks, Blair. I'm doing just that, replaying the game over from the beginning...will save at the point just before I grab the Urgon part out of it's little niche. The original game I played, I didn't save before sliding down and taking on that ugly icy toad. But a really weird thing happened...will try to repeat it and get a screenshot. I managed to stun Mr. Icy by firing at him from the side. He ended upside down, with his head half buried in the ice. He kept on kicking his feet and making that cracking sound, but could not budge. I could move around in safety from him, but he wasn't really killed off. I thought this was what was supposed to happen. But then I couldn't exit the level. MAJOR BUMMER! I sincerely hope LucasArts fixes this problem, as this is a very enjoyable game.
