stuck in level 6

i went up top and pushed the switch that opens a door, lets the lava overflow, and destroys part of a walkway. i've been stuck here for hours. please help

Well, if you have a save game from before pressing the button, here's what I did:

 

You'll notice two patches on the floor, one on each side of the river, with slimy green stuff on them. They're directly in front of the stone see-saw that crosses the lava river. Push both movable blocks onto those slimy squares.

 

Then, when you push the button and the lava overflows, you can head back to the right side, use the ladders to get onto the ledge in front of the closest block, jump from ledge to block to see-saw to block to ledge on the far side, and then use the ladders and a few jumps to get to the door that the button opened.
