Guest ChrisTC Posted December 5, 1999 Share Posted December 5, 1999 Yeah, actually it's not important what the statue is looking at. It just has to spin in order to move the gears. To open the doors you must put two gears directly next to two opposite doors (these will be opened). Of the other two gears one must be located next to the pit, the other one at the middle (in between pit and door). When you make the gears move, the inner one moves clockwise, the one in the middle counterclockwise and the two outer ones don't move. When three gears build a straight line to a door you can make the statue spin so as to open the door.
