durangojim Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 This morning around 11:30 am EST I attempted to load Galaxies after an update occurred. Now when I hit the Esc button during the scrolling text it just hangs there endlessly and doesn't bring you to the screen where it loads your galaxy. I have also let it play through the scenes with the scrolling text and the shuttle landing at the base and it still freezes right before it should show the galaxy loading screen. The music continues in both instances though. Has anyone else had these problems and know how to fix them. I've tried doing a full scan through the game to update anysoftware and that hasn't helped. It was working fine last night so I don't know what to do. Thanks for any help!
Mujahid Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 Have you tried an uninstall/reinstall yet? Sometimes the complete scan isn't so "complete", and might miss a file that has become corrupt.
