JavaGuy Posted July 11, 2003 Share Posted July 11, 2003 I have a cool portal_surface that acts as a TV screen to display something in another room on my map. There's even a camera md3 in that room right behind the portal camera entity. It all works really well except for one thing: When Kyle is standing in front of the TV screen and moves back and forth, the angle of the objects he's viewing on the screen changes. This would not happen on a real TV screen where the image is projected two-dimensionally. Does anybody know a way to make the portal_surface show exactly the image seen by the portal camera, irrespective of the player's position? I can, of course, just live with it the way it is and reason that since there are sophisticated holograms in SW it is not unreasonable to suppose a closed-circuit TV screen that lets one see things from different angles simply by looking at the screen from another direction.
