Remmiz
Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, any imaging editing progam will let you compress/re-size.

Abaddon
well that microsoft for ya... ms paint doesn't have great compressing software and you cannot adjust it. Download a free trial of Paint Shop Pro 8 http://www.jasc.com/download_4.asp? Then use the save for web option.
Ignition
Well, you dont have to make it smaller, just compress it. Look at my pics (i'm Fire Seer on the FanImage) and look at my latest pic "pet shop". Thats compressed to its lowest yet it still looks good and is the normal size. Tesshu021
Mind explaining how to compress em?
Abaddon
well the bitmap form is basically an uncompressed version of the picture. There are many forms of compression. For example: Jpeg (jpg), gif, png, etc...) Better photo editing programs even allow you to save multiple types of these formats. In Jasc PSP (and adobe PS) you can save a 10% compressed jpeg or a 90% compressed jpeg. The higher the compression the more likely that the picture will be degraded. the Save for web option in PSP will give you a way to pick out which format you want and how much compression to use AND MORE... Stick with the jpg, it usually minimizes compression glitches. Also change the size (resolution) will lower the size of the picture (duh).
