Boulder Trap in Peru LV 5

In the 5th level, there is the first boulder trap, I placed the bamboo stick into that statue's head. I heard that there is a stone head that you whip and it pulls it down.

Where do you whip to pull the boulder down?

I need specific directions...........thanks..

before going forward to the room with the first boulder, there is a place that you can climb down to. Face the room with the boulder trap and the back up until you are dangling off the ledge, then drop down to the skeleton, which is next to the bamboo stick.
