Performance level won't stay set

I can't seem to get the Performance level to set to fast or average. I set it and then it runs the same and eventually it says it's set to Very Fast. I know when it does really stay set to Fast it runs 100% smooth but on Very Fast it runs jerky. I emailed LucasArts tech support yesterday but have yet to hear from them.

You can try reinstalling the game. This works a lot for any type of bug. Hey by the way, well this game is very cool and all but........ theres so many glitches.

That's odd I only got two glitches. The first one was on the boat;

 

 

When you hide after knocking on the door, try killing the guard then walk outside,there should be an error message.

 

And on the mine level, if I put the first eye in the "Statue-wall" and try to put some oil on the track after then there will be an error message.

 

Other then does two I had none.

Oh I remember another one;

 

In the pyramide level(the one before the mine), the map info was stuck on my map and it never moved.
