Dan'mah D'upre
Ok, so I played the game twice, once light then as dark as possible. Now I was curious, after reading a lot of posts it came to my attention that almost everyone bacame a jedi guardian, me too for both games... Has anyone done a different class? was it fun? TheBinx
Actually, Jedi guardians concentrate on saber fighting consulars concentrate on force powers. But yea Sentinels are right in the middle. I like them because the start out with some good skills/feats and stuff. They also have more force points than a jedi guardian so, thats a plus in my book. Meek Man
Depends on how you start the game. Start off a solider, become a guardian Start off a scout, become a counsler Start off a scoundrel, become a sentinal The abilities that you are initially given seem to progress best in this order. Just my $.
Libra Darkstar
2/3 times I've played KotOR I've been a Consular. The other time I was a sentinel. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure being a Guardian is great because you become a major power house, but the classes that I prefer to play, like scoundrel and scout, wouldn't get any benefit from being a Guardian with my play style. I couldn't really utilize a figher type character, as I like to talk my way into more money and out of trouble. Relying on a lightsaber and brute strength over wit and charm I found quite boring. And besides, its not as if my Consular couldn't wield a lightsaber (or two) with dead accuracy, on the contrary, she was quite lethal.
DarthCPA
On my second time through the game I made an interesting character my starting off a soldier then switching to consular. I used all the feats you get early on as a soldier to build up my melee fighting (2-weapons, flurry, etc.) Then when I switched, I had a strong enough character to take on the lessor strenght of a consular but got more powers. Definitely stronger than my first character which was a Scout/Sentinel.
mccrapper
me i was a scout and so i figured hmm ill just ride the fence in powers and feats, so i became a sentinal, but the next time i play im goin soldier then counsular, but all i do is melee fighting nothin else and i never equip blasters unless mandatory, so ya my fav class is counsular with all that force points ur a bad ass no doubt.
