im thinking of getting this game. please answer my qustion

i have heard alot about clans in this game. can you please tell me how the clans work. Also can you have a 2 or 3 person clan with some friends or do you need alot of people.

Actually in this game clans are called Player Associations.

 

A player association:

 

You can have as many members as you like.

 

You can be any kind of PA you like. (Rebel, Imperial, etc...)

 

You can be on any server. (Starsider, Bloodfin, etc...)

 

You can have any name you want.

 

You can ingame when the patch is ready build a city for your PA.

 

You can have a web page even.

 

That is pretty much who PA's work.
