Diables Posted August 4, 2003 Share Posted August 4, 2003 Me and a friend went from Corellia to Endor last night. It was the first time I had travelled off Corellia. We thought we would be able to find a group to go hunting. My friend played during beta and he said there should be a big group there. Well we got there and there was only like 12 people on the whole planet. We had to wait for like an hour and finally we got a group of like 7. Was 3 or 4 marksmen, a master droid engineer, a Teras Kasi Artist and a brawler I think. We went to the Ewok village and ran around up in the trees with them. Was very cool but there were these creatures running around, someone said they were the Ewoks enemys. They were kicking our ***. Of course we wouldn't have done so bad except someone in our group ran out and pulled about 5 of them to us at once. Even if he hadn't done that though we wouldn't have lasted long. Doesn't anyone go out to these planets to hunt anymore or do you think more people will go when they master their professions? With a group of 20 I bet it would be ok but from what everyone was saying that just doen't happen anymore. We killed several creatures and got at least 500 - 700 xp each. Diables Posted August 4, 2003 Author Share Posted August 4, 2003 haha, 700 credits. if it was that cheap i would go every day. i think it cost me around 8,000 credits round trip. maybe you should update that. my friend also told me it was cheap during beta. maybe thats why nobody goes but it really does not take that long to save that much $. I have pistol specialist and rifle/carbine/ranged weapons expert after only 1 week so by that time i should be novice commando. I have seen my laser rifle do over 1900 dmg with one shot already so i might be able to get rifle specialist today or tomorrow. Only thing I am worried about is getting combat xp. It says I need 100,000 and I only have like 7,000 right now. How in the world do you get that much combat xp? do you have to go on big hunts to get it? Diables Posted August 4, 2003 Author Share Posted August 4, 2003 i didnt look at coordinates i was too busy watching for reds and once we got there i was too busy watching the ewoks. they run around in groups they are very cool. they did not bother us and we did not dare bother them. we went up into the trees they have stairs and bridges built so you can get around up there just like in return of the jedi. all i know was we left the cloning facility and went past the med center and past the starport and up the hill. watch for big spiders and those half human half zombie looking creatures. almost everything you see are red and they will sometimes come after you even if you just see arrows in your radar. i should have took screenshots next time i will. it was just so cool i did not even think about it at the time. There is a screenshot on http://www.swgalaxies.net can't believe I missed that but I really don't look at much on here except the forums. big version here: http://www.swgalaxies.net/picture.php3?type=sotd&id=30 coordinates in that pic are 133, -12 Odd, I only see a few Ewoks in that pic.
