What do I do with the block in nub'as tomb?

When I turn on my map, The x on the map flashes on a moveable block. What am I supposed to do with it? I've moved it all over the place, but It won't do anything. Plus, I put the bronze gear in the back of the creature, but how do you unstuck the button?

ok, You have the bronze gear, right? You put the gear in the turtle's back and then you push the block into the elevator thing and it goes down. Then you jump on the counterweight. If you don't have the gear, you have to get it from Volodnikov.
