I can see how someone could see it like that, but when reading it, it doesn't seem that way.
David struck a secret cord that pleased the Lord.
This sounds a lot like King David composing a hymn to God.
Later, it refers to seeing a woman bathing on a rooftop. This sounds a lot like David seeing Bathsheba just before he commited adultery with her. The song goes on to talk about basically having sex with this woman, also parralelling the Bible story. In one of the lines, it refers to binding the singer and cutting his hair. This is quite similar to Samson and Delilah. The song keeps going on about being with this woman, and it glorifies it.
Those are my concerns about the song, at least the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. I understand how the author wrote this, but I still have a problem with it.
