First off, Jesus never said he was the son of God. A hundred years after they began to speculate such things. Jesus was the son of Maria and Joseph, and was chosen by God to bring the message to humanity. Like I said, most gospel date much later than Jesus' own time, and the ones who wrote it (like Marcus, Mattheus, Lucas, ...) didn't live in his time. They heard stories and wrote it down, somethimes taking passages over from eachother.

Jesus is one of the Islams prophets, just like Moses, David, Eli, ... . Islam is considered as the follower of Judaism and Christianity, but Muslims say that Mohammad or Mahomet is the last prophet sent by god. It's too complicated to write it down...
