Something tells me that if the US army was as small as Britain's, it wouldn't be so successful. What I don't get is how SO many people can take joy out of the army. It's almost as if guys feel it's their duty to WANT to be part of the army - if not, they're not good enough. It's weird.
I can understand the cooking and medical army business, because it's good pay, and for a good cause, but actually fighting? I think it's selfish. The leaders take their own people to war, with risk of death, whilst there's family members and friends at home who need them more than a petty war does.
Who starts these wars anyway?
I want a word with them.
