Yeah, there's adverts of "the royal navy" and the army, etc. saying stuff like 'It's your time to stand' or whatever. It makes it sound fun, interesting and dangerous, which most guys tend to go for, I guess, stereotypically. It's so pathetic.

It doesn't help that England seems to be suffering in it's education - I think an average CV (resume) for British people is mostly fails. So they don't know much about the governments intrusion on the media, and how they use buzzwords and propaganda to interest it's audience.
