    I guess you just need to find a character or person from... anywhere and model him/her for your fiction. A good SW fiction for me is more focused on the plot than the SW elements. Although I liked the trilogy pretty well, I liked KOTOR more because of the characters and the story.

     

    If you have a good story that doesn't fit SW, then don't worry about it and do whatever universe you want to write about.
