Well there are certain traits that I know I can't overcome without dedication and time. I can see character flaws in myself, but don't act to correct them. I came to sacrifice classes last year because I let myself be overwhelmed by less important things.

I never really had extreme addictions to video games before, but they have made a significant negative impact on my life. I am trying to step away from them, but often find myself thinking too much of them even during class periods. At first, I thought I could listen and do well with less effort, but deluded myself into thinking something I knew was going to end up badly.

As I come into this year, I might just make the same mistakes again. I am trying to overcome that and face everything that I must and face the cold-hard-truth of a situation. Work leads to greater joy. the simpler the task, the less joy I'll have that lasts.
