well, I'm stumped. Say, you didn't add or delete any vertices, did you? Even by accident? Anyway, I can't think of anything else right now. I also won't be able to use my home computer (with all the modding tools) until tomorrow. If you give me a step by step description of what you've done, I might flash on something more helpful.
