  1. People keep timing out. They get on, can't do anything and have to cut themselves from the server. I actually have had this happen to me as well. I can join, I can see the loading screen, but then the game cuts out and says it had an error with the jamp.exe file. Whatever that means. I didn't have this problem at first, so I don't know what it's doing. I'm using the Zion map. Using JA+ Mod 2.0. And my IP is currently 24.209.207.207:-3032. I still don't like this port number. Why can't it be 29070 like everyone else's is. I'm going to try and number of different things to try and fix all this. But, I doubt what I'm thinking will work. Will anyone help me?
  2. I don't know what I did, but I got it to work. I wasn't what you told me. All that you told me to do helped me to get my configuation settings to stay the same. Which was good. Everytime I joined JA I had to reset my controls and whatnot. Well I know that I can join and use all my powers as admin, but I don't know if anyone else can join yet. It was late at night when I got it working so no one was really on. I'll have to try again later to see if it works. Thanks though for getting my settings to work right though.
  3. Thank you. I will try that. I am actually at the moment running my server off one of my other computers, and I seem to be able to join the server. The port number is still really wierd, but I can live with it. What I can't live with is, I can't use any of the JA+ mod functions. I have JA+Mod v.2.0 and it doesn't work. If anyone has any advice on how I could do that, that would be great.
  4. Ok, I set up my server, fine. It displays on the internet. But I try and join it, and it won't work. It sits there saying awaiting game state or whatever forever. My server IP port is a negative. Which I don't think is right. Does it have to do with the port number? If so how do I change my server IP? Please help me out. I'm steps away from achieving my goal. Please help!
  5. Ok I can set up a server just fine, but the problem is, I can't join it myself. So far I don't think anyone else can join it either. Any help would be most appreciated. I just gotta have my server. Oh and on a special note, my server id ends up having a port number like -83013 (Just an example, but what about that negative thing, what's that?)
  6. I understand that, but do you know where I can find things. I think you can download them can't you? I don't think you have to buy things in order to update them. At least that's how most software updates are. Please let me know. I miss playing JA. I was supposed to be making a server as soon as I started using this other computer. The one that I was working on was in another country and it was behind a firewall that wouldn't let me do servers. Now that I'm on a computer that will allow me to set up a server, the game won't even work. I was really disappointed.
  7. Alright I'm sure many have had this error before, and I know that people have posted about this error before. But, the advice people gave was not good at all. I know it wasn't good because it didn't work. So all I'm asking is that someone please, please, help me out. I am lost without my game. I need my game. I'm nothing without it. Ok, I'm currently on a Windows 2000 system. I was on a Windows XP, but I'm away from it at the moment and probably won't use that computer anymore. I need to know how to get around it. I don't really know anything at all about it. May that have anything at all to do with it? I'm thinking it doesn't but I thought I might just ask. Well please help me if you can. Thank you.
  8. Sorry I didn't know. I'll put this up over there.
  9. I have had the very same problem. Try copying another character .pk3 file, changing the name of the entire .pk3, and then putting all your model_default.skin and every other file of your custom player model should go into the .pk3 as well. Now to do this, just delete all the old files in the, I think it's the pk3's players file, and add the new files by clicking the add button in WinRaR. Don't fool around with extracting it and pasting files into a regular folder. Once you have added the files, you can just close the winrar program and it should have fixed your problem. If you need more specific details, just give me a reply.
  10. Alright, I love "Knights of the Old Republic". I think there should be more characters from KOTOR in Jedi Academy. So, what I suggest is a sith trooper. Nothing too fancy. Looks similar to my picture here. Help someone if you can make this that would be cool. Maybe even the armor could look a little shiny because that's what it is.
  11. Are there any subscriptions that deliver news on any Star Wars Games daily? If so could you tell me? I'm mainly interested in Jedi Academy and Star Wars Galaxies. Well hope someone will help...
  12. Are there any sites where you can imput your own ideas that could be considered for any star wars games. When I say that I mean all games, but mostly Jedi Academy. Does anyone know what stage they are on? There should still be time. I won't tell anyone my own ideas yet, because I would like to know if I could imput my own ideas. I am currently writing a book about a boy who is recruited into the academy by a very young Yoda and I thought I might contribute a little...
