Over the last few years I've been playing games in High Definition on my Xbox 360. I've been playing great games like the Assassin's Creed series, Far Cry 3, and Red Dead Redemption. I haven't played through the Jedi Outcast SP Campaign since 2006. I started playing through it again and its amazing. The graphics are good, the levels and the storyline is great. I forgot a lot of stuff about it and I'm getting stuck in the levels and I have to figure them out. I bought Jedi Outcast the day it came out and it was the best game I've ever played. It is still my favorite Star Wars game of all time and one of my favorite games of all time. Hopefully Disney will get back to making Star Wars games regularly. I would love to see a new Jedi Knight game in an open world with hundreds of things to do like in Assassin's Creed and Far Cry 3. I'm bought Jedi Academy the day it came out and I will replay it. I still have JK and MotS but the game is to dated for me to play it.

Lucasarts has been working on Star Wars Kinect which is just a tool to sell more Kinect systems. They should be working on JK4 with the latest graphics for the 360, PS3, and PC. Plus put at least 25 levels in the SP campaign.

I was playing TFU 2 the other day and one slash will kill a stormtrooper or rebel soldier. The difference in TFU and JA is in TFU the stormtrooper or rebel soldier keeps standing up if you keep slashing it when in JA the slash makes them fall imediately. But in TFU combined with the many combinations and the force lighting lightsaber swings are much more powerful. There is one combo that lets you slam the ground with your lightsaber and it sends the enemies flying. The lightsaber in TFU is much more fluid from slashing to blocking. In JA and JO there is sometimes when a stormtrooper is standing in front of me and I swing my lightsaber and miss him. That never happens in TFU.

The lightsaber and the force are so much bigger in TFU than they are in JO and JA. I know I'm in a minority but I use mainly guns when I play JO and JA except during the lightsaber duels. In TFU the lightsaber is so much easier to use and does so much more damage. Also it has all the lightsaber combos that the Jedi Knight series doesn't have.

I just bought The Force Unleashed II for the Xbox 360 last week a I'm really enjoying it. My only problem with the game that its to short but the price is down to between $10 and $20 for the game. Two years ago I bought The Force Unleashed 1 for the Xbox 360 and loved it too. I think The Force Unleashed is Lucasarts' idea of a Jedi Knight game on the next generation game systems. You don't use guns but the lightsaber and force powers are so strong you wouldn't use the guns anyway. There are holocrons hidden throughout the levels which take place of secret areas. There are also puzzles to figure out. I've been playing The Force Unleashed on my 50 inch Panasonic Plasma HDTV and the Star Wars universe looks amazing in HD. The John Williams Star Wars music sounds great on my dolby pro-logic surround sound receiver. If anybody hasn't played The Force Unleashed games the price is right to try them out. You will be glad you did.

The SP campaign in Jedi Outcast is still my favorite today. So play the SP campaign again. I still have the JO and JA games I bought on release day and I'll always keep them.

I love Star Wars and I'm always looking for new SP levels to play in JO or JA. Hopefully Ramsees Hed will be released. I have The Force Unleashed 1 and 2 on the Xbox 360 and they are great. There are holocrons hidden through the levels that take place of the secret areas. Walking through the Star Wars Universe with next gen graphics is awesome.

I would love another Jedi Knight game but I don't think we are going to see one. Its been 9 years since the last one. I like The Force Unleashed but these games need to have more levels in them.
-
That would be great. Even if only Ramsees Hed is playable it would be awesome to have one more Dark Forces level to play in the JA engine.

I've been following this mod since it started. I'm sorry to hear the sad news.

The project is dead. Info about it is on the front page of the DF Mod website. I just wish they worked on level 7 instead of all the other stuff they did for the later levels. If that happened we could have got another level out of the mod.

I agree. The Xbox 360 costs $200 which is about the same price as a good graphics card for the PC. In 2006 when I was 39 years old I bought an Xbox 360 and it became my main gaming machine over the PC. I'm now 43 and have played a lot of good games for the 360 with HD graphics on my 50 inch Plasma HDTV. The only thing missing from the consoles is the modding abilities. The Force Unleashed on the 360 is awesome. So is Tomb Raider Legend, Tomb Raider Anniversary, and Tomb Raider Underworld. Wolfenstien on the 360 also has an awesome SP campaign.

My PC is from 2003 also. The Xbox 360 is at a great price now for $200 and the graphics are just as good as the PC. I went from PC gaming on my 19 inch computer monitor to the Xbox 360 gaming in HD on my 50 inch plasma HDTV. I also game with my feet up sitting in my recliner instead of sitting at a computer desk. The only thing that is missing from the 360 is mods and add on SP levels and playing with a mouse. But I like the 360 gamepad so much I have a wired one hooked up to my PC. I was a die hard PC gamer from 1990 to 2006. I agree paying $60 for a game is too much. I waited until two weeks ago and bought The Force Unleashed for the 360 from Amazon.com for $14. Back in March I bought Wolfenstein for the 360 from Amazon.com for $15. Wolfenstein is made by Raven and it has the best SP campaign that I enjoyed since playing JO and JA.

I just got around to buying The Force Unleashed for my Xbox 360 and I'm very impressed. I played in HD on my 50 inch Panasonic plasma HDTV and the graphics were awesome. I didn't miss the guns much at all with the force powers and the lightsaber. They are much more powerful weapons. I would still like to have a new Jedi Knight game but The Force Unleashed really satisfied me with giving me a new Star Wars game with the latest HD graphics. They blow away the graphics in JO and JA. The holocrons hidden thoughout the levels took the place of secret areas. So there is a lot of exploring to do. I've been watching youtube clips of people playing JO and JA and everybody is using the lightsaber. This might be why Lucasarts left the guns out of The Force Unleashed. But my favorite weapon in JO and JA is the Stormtrooper rifle. I think the reason Lucasarts is concentrating on the consoles instead of the PCs is because the consoles cost less. You can buy an Xbox 360 for $200 which is about the price of a good 3D accelerator in a PC. The Xbox 360 graphics are top notch. It has HD gaming capability at a good price. My 360 has been my main gaming machine since I bought it in 2006. I haven't upgraded my PC since 2003.

I finally got around to buying The Force Unleashed for the Xbox 360 yesterday. I found the original version of The Force Unleashed for the 360 at Deep Discount.com for $17.19 and free shipping. So I figured I would pick it up since its been two years since it came out and I've waited long enough to play it. I should get it in the mail next week. The Force Unleashed II the reviews I've read about it are not good. I will wait until it comes down to $20 before I get it.
