I think I may have finally come up with a spellcasting character that I'd feel comfortable with (mixed race huntress/conjurer). Dunno that she's end up doing any part of the mage quest, but she will marry Aela . She's about 3 characters down on my list of future playthroughs though, so anything can happen.

And yes, I really don't care for Dragon Priests. Another case of something that's harder to kill than a dragon.
