If anything, Academy makes it more satisfying for "noobs" to just swing wildly, but in reality, it'll be tougher for them when playing someone skilled with all the new acrobatics, special moves, and who has skill with the lightsaber in general.

 

It also makes it annoying for serious players to have two opponents:

 

The person he is dueling.

 

And the sloppy physics and sluggish controls.

 

 

You really can not sit here and tell me with a straight face that the player control response is anywhere near as tight as it is in JO multiplayer.

 

And let’s look at these new moves shall we?

 

Those Kata moves are just like the DFA or yellow DFA in JO.

 

They may have a place in sloppy FFA games but if you even try them in a duel you will get murdered by a defensive player with even half a brain.

 

If JA single player is supposedly much like JA multiplayer then it is a great day for star wars fans and a sad day for serious gamers who value game play mechanics and quality over visually gratifying combat that makes them feel like Luke Skywalker.
