DemiDeviMatt Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 im a twiliek and i have a -30% penalty when pourchasing imperial items with faction points. IF i promote myself does the penalty eventually reduce? how many promotions do i need? also wt are the perks of a promotions?

[RAA]-=Chi3f=- Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 I've heard that once you reach Surface Marshall (the highest rank available in the game) you will get all items 50% off. Of course, byt the time you earned enough points to get SM you would go insane. Then again I've seen wookies running around with two AT-STs so anythings possible. I'm a zabrak and I have 4 commandos, a medic, and a darktrooper. It took me a while but it was worth it. However, it will cost me 18900 for an AT-ST so I'm not going to bother. When you include the fact that you need a promotion for every 1000fp to store, it's just not worth it.
Roo'edi Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 I guess you could become a smuggler and learn Underworld to off set the faction cost. With Underworld IV don't you get like a 30% faction reduction?
