Fury
Has anybody had a problem with the game momentarily stuttering/freezing in the thick of a sabre fight? This is happening to me very regularly when I'm close to any enemy and the lightsabres are flying like crazy. The screen freezes for a split second and then goes back to normal. This usually happens when I'm right on top of the enemy and our lightsabres are connecting. Needless to say it's very annoying and very much spoils things. I tried turning off various effects, disabling EAX and all other programs (eg anti-virus) but with no improvement. Never had this problem in Jedi Outcast and if I can't sort it out I'll have to think long and hard about actually buying the game even though I really enjoyed the demo Does anybody know why this is happening and if there is a solution? Thanks in advance. My specs: P4 2.3 ghz, 768 RAM, geForce4 Ti 4600, Sound Blaster Live Platinum etc etc PS - how do I get a FPS display during the game? Reprehence
I had this problem - actually it happened when my saber touched anything. Check your mouse settings for the ForceFeedback mouse. Mine was defaulted to Yes. I turned it to No - problem solved.
Fury
Thanks Reprehence, that worked like a charm and it's running smooth as butter now
Andy867
yea its weird that that particluar option auto-enabled, although most mice for the pc don't have force feedback.. I turned that off and the volumetric shadows and dynamic lighting/light flares/wall marks and dynamic glow and kick the Anistropic filter to almost nothing and now i get like 100-199FPS. Crimson5
Mine gets slow at the part when you see c3po and r2d2 and stays slow the rest of the tatooine level. I have tried everything. P.s. how do you get it to show the FPS
