hutdo
How are us fellow ATI graphics card owners ment to play jedi academy, call of duty or any other game requiring OpenGL 1.4 when the latest Catalyst drivers only contain OpenGL 1.3? are we just ment to put up with the constant crashes, loss of hair and late nights wondering why we have been forsaken? pahamrick
Um. I've got a Radeon 9800 Pro with the 3.6 and I could play the Demo no problems. Not a single crash or anything.
lukeskywalker1
hm... so you dont have to have open GL 1.4? Its just better that you do... BTW, isnt there an option to turn off the open GL stuff. I know there was in JKII. Its for cards that arent fully openGL compatible.
Andy867
According to James Monroe, as long as you have OpenGL 1.3 drivers, you should be set, although 1.4 allows for more optimization(just guessing)
lukeskywalker1
It works! Oh yeah!!! Anyways, i think i have open GL 1.1.2 (thats what the jk2 thingy said, when you go to the graphics options and click driver info...) although im not sure what i have, because jk2 said i have DX 8.1 and the JA demo said i have DX 9.0a but DXDIAG says i have DX 9.0b
