xtrazx75 Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 The Ninja-Style stance (blade facing backwards) can be achieved by using the Staff - then turning off the "upper" blade. here are some screenshots: http://members.rogers.com/jediacademy/images/ninjastyle.jpg http://members.rogers.com/jediacademy/images/ninjastyle2.jpg I found this out in another post - all credit goes to tcx: tcx says.... In the console, type: saberblade a b c where: a -> the number of the saber (1 for right 2 for left) b -> the number of the blade (staffs have 2! 1 is up 2 is down) c -> on/off variable (0 is off, 1 is on) with the staff you can turn the first (up) blade off with saberblade 1 1 0 etc...
Kurgan Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 Nice find you guys.. I'm going to quote this on the "Not enough customization?" thread.. hope you don't mind. ; )
xtrazx75 Posted September 14, 2003 Author Posted September 14, 2003 What I found cool (if you look at the 2nd screenshot), is that your character automatically moves the saber so that the blade deflects a blaster shot. In essence you ARE fighting ninja/samurai style.
xtrazx75 Posted September 14, 2003 Author Posted September 14, 2003 How about this arrangement? http://members.rogers.com/jediacademy/images/dualninja.jpg http://members.rogers.com/jediacademy/images/dualninja2.jpg

Would this work in MP, since it isn't a cheat?
Thazac Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 Well, on a server with cheats enabled, yes. Just imagine using the grapple moves on an unsuspecting opponent.... Har har har...
Kiroth21 Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 i can imagine a player attacking you and then u put him in a choke hold and throw him in a abyss
hUlkSmASH Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 Yeah, this is a pretty good demo, but I'm still getting bored of it. Stupid 17th...
AxVegetA Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 hey xtrazx is it the same as the second medium stance?
xtrazx75 Posted September 15, 2003 Author Posted September 15, 2003 Originally posted by AxVegetA hey xtrazx is it the same as the second medium stance? I'm not 100% sure - I haven't tried the second medium stance yet, but I've read about it.... I think it's a little different. You do get to pull off the staff moves - but your character "knows" that only 1 blade is active (the lower blade) so when an enemy attacks you with a saber or weapon, your character automatically positions the saber to deflect that shot - visually impressive.
Khaydarin Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 hello , somehow i can't do it with dual lightsaber ... i ve typed in the console DEVMAPALL saberblade 1 2 1 So the right lightsaber is supposed to be on but the blade down am i right ??? Thx =)
Dr_night Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Just wondering, using these codes, would there be a way to make it so that you wield TWO lightSTAFFS?
