Silent Bob
I have a gforce fx 5200 ultra 128mb and on Hoth and the tram level i get a white/grayish layer over some textures. I'm using the 45.33 drivers. Any drivers before or after these any better.

Either some of your textures didn't load for some reason (hitch while loading? not enough memory? only time I've seen this is when we're loading off our network here and have a big glitch in the network while loading). Legal, un-hacked retail version?
Silent Bob
It's legal believe me(overdrew my checking account to get it yesterday). No mods. Regular version. But it's similar to MOH:AA(Q3 engine, right) with the washed out foggy background. Also I have 1 gig of ram.
Silent Bob
Forum froze again!!! Well I tried the 51.75 drivers and they get rid of the washed out/ fog effect on the textures. Now I just have to test to see if they work well with the rest of the game.

Silent Bob
45.23's work great now, but the 45.33's w/ the fog and all just sucked. Nvidia's new drivers might come out soon, and if they do, most of the problems people have with certain games should be fixed. Hopefully:compcry:
Kurgan
I had to downgrade my drivers as well (GeForce2 GTS running on Win98SE here). When I used the latest drivers the analyzer program in advanced failed the DX 7-9 test and the game itself had horrible performance. Now it runs almost as fast as JK2. Silent Bob
Don't try the 52.13's(beta)either, does the same thing. Warning if you own a fx 5800 or 5900 don't, I repeat DON'T get these. they turn off the cooling fan. Although they work excellent on GTA:VC. Dammit Nvidia fix the driver's PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
