Here is a small, easy tweak I put togeather for afew friends... thought I'd post it here as well.

 

First off, Im WAY into Performance over Eye candy.

 

So, this will get you a good +60 - +70 FPS, try putting this in an autoexec.cfg

Basicly what this does:

 

seta r_DynamicGlow "0"

Is a glow given off Sabers and lights, it takes insane ammounts of memory to run, so disabling it will get you alot better performance... You wont notice it being off, besides the FPS increase.

 

seta r_ext_texture_filter_anisotropic "0.000000"

anisotropic filtering is almost as bad as antialiasing when it comes to easting FPS, so turning it low or as I have it, at 0 you'll get a good 10-15 FPS.

 

seta com_maxfps 150

Basicly JK3 has this set to 85, If you have a GeForce FX or 4 (or higher end ATI), you can set this to 200-300... I have mine at 250, with a GeForce FX 5200 AGP.

 

In your setup display, disable Vsync... much goodness

 

Also, try turning your AntiAliasing on your GFX card as low as you can bare (personaly, I keep it off... but thats just me)
