ShawnD Posted September 21, 2003 Share Posted September 21, 2003 I will be playing JK2 then my computer just crashes. The screen goes blank and it goes through the boot process. Jedi Knight 2 is the only game I own which does this and it's really annoying because it happens quite often. I can't play the game for more than 30 minutes at a time. Windows XP GeForce FX5200 1gb ram I've installed the latest patch I could find (1.04?) and that did nothing. Is there any fix for this problem? It's ironic but the JK2 demo never ever crashed on me. Kuuki Posted September 22, 2003 Share Posted September 22, 2003 this sorta worked for me with a different problem i've had: right click on my computer > properties > Advanced > 'settings' button for "Startup and Recovery" > uncheck the box for 'Automatically restart' under 'System Failure' now, the next time you crash, it'll show a blue screen telling ya what happened instead of rebooting Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
