bedwine
I am near the end (I think). In a desert with two NPC's with me. The only way I can see to go is to jump up to the roof of this large rectangular building with only one side being an option. there are no objects to jump to the get me a little higher. Just for an experiment I cheated and used noclip to get to the roof. Is soon as I made it the NPC's made the jumps with ease. I dont' get it I am maxed out on jumps. Why can't I jump higher? boinga1
NPC's do not use levels of jump. When they see you, they automatically jump as high as neccessary to reach their target. This prevents issues where the player can simply jump up to a high place where whe cannot be reached by the enemy.
bedwine
I have found the area that I am at appears to be a dead end. What bothers me is that an obvious jump or area that looks accecable is blocked by an invisible blcock similar to race simulators such as need for speed. Logically one should be abe to jump form point a to point b by the visual perspective. Lucas Arts went cheap by blocking obvious exits with invisible blank walls. This knocks down a 4 star game to a 3 star game in my opinion.
bedwine
The broad audience is much more sofisticated that what it may seem.
IronFryman
They have it blocked off, either expecting you would never be able to get up there, or to improve performance.
