zeimi
I'm going to make a window from where the sunlight "fills" the room. I need to do a glow effect like the one seen here (though a bit poorly) I know I need a brush where I want the effect to appear, so I'd only like to know what textures I need to texture that brush (from JA textures). Shotokan
JA mapping tools are released already???
Khaza
Where do you need specific tools for JA.. well exept for scripting? You can simply use old version of GtkRadiant and change the settings to match JA then compile your maps with newer versions of q3map2 that support "-game ja" key. Anyways as seen here: http://www.qeradiant.com new version of Gtk is coming but it's not out yet... For those light "beams" or "fills" (what ever ) you should make simple brush and use trasparent shader, they are usually near black.
zeimi
Yea, right. Transparent shader. But what textures I need to use on the visible faces of the glow? Edit: oh right. Near black. I'll have a look...
