K Project Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 Ok, I bought JA yesterday and since i installed my screen keeps flashing, the game is still playable it's just very annoying is all. Also on Bast Castle (when you go where Darth Vader was i believe) if I die the game will not load another saved game, it just locks up. my specs are as follows Barton 2500+ @2.07 WinXP /w SP1 Epox 8RDA+ mobo Kingston pc2100 x2 512 sticks directx 9b Radeon 9700 pro 128 meg @ stock generic 7200 60 gig hd that's pretty much all I can think of, I'm using the 5.1 onboard audio with the epox mobo. StormHammer Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 If you're using the latest Catalyst drivers (3.7) they are known to cause the on-screen 'flashing'. I'm using Catalyst 3.4, and have not experienced this problem. Others use 3.6 and don't get this problem either. As for the crash...I can't say. You might want to try reloading the level from scratch, and deleting the previous save games for that level. Apparently too many saved games 'confuses' the game itself. Go figure...
