Hey all, I'm getting really bad fps in JKA... I have a GeForce Fx 5900 256MB Ultra and I'm getting around 15 to 40 fps..... Wtf? And it does not matter how low or high my settings/res/detial settings are at. I get way better fps in games that demand more power like Unreal2 or Raven Shield with 60+ FPS in those games with max settings. In quake3 i normaly get 100+ fps. Please help.

If this is in SP, here is a quick fix that will REALLY boost your FPS... Go into the Control options, and under Mouse/Other (or something like it) turn OFF the Force Feedback option (ON by default)... This little feature has been known to cause HUGE performance issues, despite its nature. But keep the shadows and the Dynamic glow off, and try updating your video drivers if you havent done so already. Also, try turning the Anistropic filter down to 50% and see how the game runs then.

Whats weird darkshadow26 is that my monitor can only support 60Hz at 1024x768 (cheap Relisys 15" Monitor) but my game can do like 175FPS in places, but usually 70-120.
