Kurgan
In JA's controls menu there is an option to bind a key to "Vchat" (voice chat). I have mine set to "U" so when I type "U" a window pops up in game that shows a list of voice commands I can click on to use (and send to all teammates). I know it (along with Radar) works in CTF and Siege (haven't tested it in Team FFA), and there are about 28 commands, including requests, replies, tactics, attack, defend, etc. These come in two variants (male and female, depending on the gender of the model you're using), and can only be used when you're alive. What I want to know is... how do you bind individual Voice Chat commands to keys? I hate wasting precious time searching through the menus for the proper command.. Any help is appreciated! Crow_Nest
Didn't the manual said anything about this?
Kurgan
No, unfortunately. All it told how to do was use the MENU which can be bound to a key. So press that key and the menu pops up, but it doesn't say how to bind each individual saying to a key. I'll check the readme text again, maybe I just missed it somewhere... Since this is a new feature that hasn't been in any previous Q3 engine games (I may be wrong about that) perhaps its just poorly documentated at this time. I messaged Mike Gummelt about it, but have yet to recieve an answer...

Kurgan
So what do you put in the "command" spot? "defense"? "defend"? Something like that? Thanks for the tip, I'll see what I can mess around with... Update: "vsay" gets unknown command. : (
