Drakonis Posted October 15, 2003 Posted October 15, 2003 well... the subject kinda states itself... what are the upsides / downsides about beeing member of a faction instead of staying neutral?
Duffalpha Posted October 18, 2003 Posted October 18, 2003 Unless you become a merchant or an entertainer i would say join a faction, for one you have all the available faction perks to widen the possibilitys, 2ndly you meet more people and its fun joining a guild with your own base, a place to hang out, and 3rdly you get to participate in all sorts of fun stuff like faction raids, PvP etc.... and if u dont like fighting you can just stay Covert...
StarCords Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 2nd: You can walk around Theed as a covert rebel and see that THERE'S A COVERT REBEL EVERY FOOT! I'm dead serious. I have a screenshot that would make any imp cringe.

Yeah i thought that was kinda funny to, i went to theed for a lay over in flights() and i looked around on my map and saw purple arrows EVERY were... As to your question, joining a faction is great no matter what. From my experiences, joining a faction, alot more people talk to you then when you are neutral, and are more willing to help a fellow rebel....
Goose_Of_Mercy Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 Whats even funnier is doing a search for imperials and search for rebels. You will find more rebels in theed then imperials because all the "light blue" are neutral, mostly entertainers. Join a faction, It opens up a whole new part of the game. ~SK~
