ManaMana
Need this FAST! When playing Jedi Academy online, do you have to disable your firewall? I'm in a BIG hurry so please answer quickly! I know that when you host a server, you have to disable the firewall, but do you need it in other cases? Like connecting to another server? Thanks for your answers! //ManaMana
Vanor
You proably need to open a port at least. But if your not sure how to do that, or what port to open, then yeah disable your firewall.

Kurgan
If you use Norton Internet Security you can disable it from the program menu (unless you put a password on in which case you'll need the pass) or if there's a little "world" icon in the tool bar you can right click on that and there is an option to disable. Of course the better solution is to make custom profile for JAMP.EXE and JAMPDed.exe and "allow all connections" for both. Then make sure ports 29060-29099 (UPD&TCP) are OPEN (since these are the ports JA needs. JK2 uses 28060-28099).
