ZH@o YuN
I've almost finished converting the Raven's Claw into a fully pilotable ship, and all I need now is a gla file!!! This is bugging me to the extreme
ASk
GLA = the file format of skeletal animations that JK2/JA use. If you want a thorough, but technical description of the format, install JK2 sdk and look in code\renderer directory. Otherwise, if you compile an XSI to a glm model with Carcass, the gla gets created automatically.
ZH@o YuN
OK, I've completely finished the Raven's Claw model now, it's ready to be a usable ship...... But I still need a GLA! I looked at the Kotor_flight_school pk3, and noticed that the new ships just had an unedited "x-wing.gla" file in their folders... But when I put the file into my ravensclaw folder, the game still said "NPC had an invalid .GLA" .....WHY?! >:@ Is there any way to export a model as an XSI instead of MD3/GLM? razorace
Well, the JK2 tools had a md3->glm/gla convert as part of their md3view program.
ZH@o YuN
It says "Export <modelname> as .GLM/.GLA files?" but when you click yes it only writes a .GLM, not a .GLA...
