trolling

If you define a troll as someone who announces his/her views over a matter, then you'd better close these forums pretty damn fast. Thats the only reason I can see for closing the 'dead' thread.

this thread started with your erroneous claim that JA was "dying"

Lies. If i'm not mistaken, is there not another thread, by a different user (who doesn't even agree with my viewpoint!) on this very forum asking why JA has fewer mp players than JK2? I stated a fact, not a falicy.

Furthermore whats the point in forums if not to debate? Maybe we should all agree that JA should have sabers in it. Yes we all agree. Gj.

I would think the point of a forum, by definition, is to discuss views and opinions and if you think thats wrong, or don't like it when someone has a different opinion to you, then why become a moderator. I merely present a different viewpoint and it seems to me that because you don't agree with it, you need to close threads.

Maybe I should just close this thread, it's clear your only intention is to continually insult people because they don't agree with you.

Lies. I've created a reasonable arguement and nowhere has it flamed any person. I invite you to post a quote where I have flamed a person in the thread entitled 'dead'.

Nowhere in the 'dead' thread was there a flame by me or anyother user. This brings me to the point. Why did you close it?

People started to post saying they would accept a patch where features could be toggled on and off, thereby, keeping everyone happy. I wouldn't call people beginning to understand the reasoning and requests behind my arguement 'a dead horse'. Im sure theres some proverb like 'he who does not ask does not get'.

If you don't like discussions and a diversity of opinions, I suggest you resign from moderating.

(which later turned out to be the tired well-worn 'Competative Play is Ruined Forever Because Flip Kicks are Gone' argument)

You still don't see the point. Its not an arguement. Its a fact. There is no way that s/o ctf can be played competetively if there is no way to stop an fc. There are numerous other flaws that mean other types of competetive play also became pointless.

Toggleable features mean we could turn kicks, gripkick, pt etc. on, but non-competetive gamers can carry on playing like nothing ever happened. I can't state it any simpler.

You mean the one where that idea was disproven by the numbers posted by other people?

I stated a fact, not a falicy.

Actually what you posted was an opinion, not a fact.

I merely present a different viewpoint and it seems to me that because you don't agree with it, you need to close threads.

Well what ever his reason, as a mod he has the rights to close any thread he wishes, no matter the reason.

Why did you close it?

How about this...

Maybe I should just close this thread, it's clear your only intention is to continually insult people because they don't agree with you.

Seems rather clear to me why he closed it. He was more or less corect in that statement. You refered to anyone who dissagreed with you as a Noob. In fact the whole point of your post, was basicly that JA isn't enough like JO, and for that reason the game was dead, which is not something you ever even came close to proving.

I wouldn't call people beginning to understand the reasoning and requests behind my arguement 'a dead horse'.

Umm the fact that your request has been brought up serveral times already since the release of JA, and most everyone agreed would make it in fact a dead horse.
