Sup3rman Posted November 1, 2003 Share Posted November 1, 2003 CAn someone pls help me out.......i'm missing a file on my freakkin cd........its a gamedata file and with out it i just cant fully install jedi academy.........the file name is data4.cab.......if any of u can help me..........send the file to me via email.........ori3ntal_child@yahoo.co.uk............i'd like to say tank u bfore hand to he/she who sends it to me...........i'm so looking forward to this game edit : well i tried again......and nope.......i've searched high and low for the file in every disc i have.....which is only 2.......if i'm not wrong when the installation reached 98% it asked me to put in disc 0.......wat the hell is that.....then it tells me it cant find the file data4.cab in any of the 2 cd's that i put in.........i checked every disc and disc 1 has data1.cab and data2.cab..........disc 2 has data3.cab........thats it.......no 4.......could someone pls tell me wats wrong here.......... StormHammer Posted November 1, 2003 Share Posted November 1, 2003 If there is a problem with the disks you have so that they will not install...then simply go back to the retailer where you bought the game and advise them of the fault. You should be able to get a replacement or a refund. It certainly sounds like one of the disks is faulty, if the game won't install properly. Good luck with your problem. Gabrobot Posted November 1, 2003 Share Posted November 1, 2003 Well, I just checked both of my disks, and neither have a data4.cab...I don't think this is a corrupt disk problem, as someone else posted something saying they were having the exact same problem as you...
