HawkEyes
Hi all. So i bought me a nice new Kaduu of wich the creator said it takes 5 days to fully grow. Now tell me, after those 5 days can i take it to a CH with that Empathy4 to have it trained as a mount or do i have to do this before. Right now it doesnt even reach to my knees so its way to small for me to ride it anyway. Is it also correct that im not the one who can teach it to follow, attack etc cause im not a CH???. Diables
You are correct about everything. Except the 5 days. I don't know exactly how long it takes. Get him trained to fight now and use him to kill something easy at least once a day. I have heard they grow faster if you do that but I don't know for sure. You will need to wait until it is ready to be used as a mount before it can be trained to do so. My kaadu was able to be trained at level 6. Just got him trained last night and I love it. I even have more fps when I'm on him and I thought it would make my fps lower.
BlyGilmore
creatures need to have 60 percent of their total HAM before they can be trained as a mount. so if a creature has a HAM of 1,000 they need to be at least 600 to be mounted (that sounds dirty). to have them grown just take them out at some point each day and feed them. freshboi
you dont need 60% I dont really know what the requirements are but, my giant carrion spat was trained to mount at lvl2, wiht only 10% of his max life...

Someone said a dewback can be mounted after its first growth. Of course I don't believe everything I hear, especially while playing swg. The only thing I know for sure is I got my kaadu trained as a mount last night and it was level 6.
BlyGilmore
dunno - i've seen 60% posted in several places but it could be wrong.
HawkEyes
Yah ok, thanks. My Kaduu is at level 4 today so only 2 days left. What is a decent price a CH can ask to train it as a mount. I've heard numbers arround the 3000 credits. Is this a regular and fair price?
Scazza
yo hawk eyes just wanna say that no 3k is not a normal price,, if u find the right people thay will do it for free!! Jan Gaarni
For the how long it takes, I think it varies. I got 2 lesser plains Bols at the same time from the same lair, both babies. After 3-4 days one had fully grown to level 10, the other only half grown, at level 4 to be exact.

If someone feels like they should tip the trainer I don't see anything wrong with that but I don't think they should be asking for money to train your mount. I tipped the guy who trained my mount 500 credits. And I always tip medics and things like that.
Seriaya
Actually with a giant carrion spat you can train it to ride right after taming it. This is the only creature that I know of that you can train to mount right away. With kaadus they have to be a lv 6 in order for them to be trained to ride. As far as the others I am not sure but I have always heard that they have to be 60% grown before you can train them to ride.
