If someone could answer that or mabey point me to a totorral it would help alot Thanks for all your help

lukeskywalker1 Posted November 29, 2003 Posted November 29, 2003 well, sorry this is late, (nov 28, you posted on the 22nd) but anyways, to make the info player start, just right click somewhere in the 2D display, then its under one of the menus... and for stairs, just keep making thin brushes put them in the proper places to form stairs.

Whitesaber Posted December 6, 2003 Posted December 6, 2003 To make stairs, make a brush just a few units high, then make another one of the same length and width next to it but around two to three units higher. Keep making it higher and higher until you reach the top. Then, using the clip shader, create a ramp that leads from the first step to the last. It has to be ON TOP of them. The game will cause you to move up the steps, but you're actually walking on the invisible clip rampy thingy.

Its what helped me get a place in the Dark Forces MOD as a mapper and scripter. So if you've got a problem with RichDiesal, it'd be better for you to just keep quiet about it.
