Ub3rl33t2304
Has anyone addressed the problem with the Number of Bones error you get when trying to view some models? It's something like this model has 72 bones and the _humanoid mesh only has 53? Something like that.
Wudan
It's Modview, right? The error is because these models were made for 2 separate games, and 2 separate games. You'll find that error with custom models because they are being built on the JO skeleton. I wrote a program (Dragon) which has both skeletons (in 1 frame clean GLAs) and views models from either game with JPG and TGA support. However, Dragon was not intended to be a ModView replacement, it was meant to be an animation tool.
pureimpure
So is there any alternative to viewing our models ? besides your program Dragon ?
[FotF]Maddog
There are two ways you can go about opening models that were made based on the JK2 skeleton. Both require you having JK2 or knowing someone who does. 1. Just open the models in JK2 2. Get a copy of the _humanoid.gla from JK2 and just alternate between the JKA and JK2 _humanoid.gla files in the C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\Gamedata\base\ models\players\_humanoid. according to which models you are working with. There might be other ways to go about this but this is the way I know how. Good Luck Dog
