greenlanternfan
I burned a back-up CD of my Academy and the multiplayer continues to say that there is an invalid folder. My original was bought legally, but because my I burned it, does that mean my burned copy is now illegal?? I'm so confused.
BJP3E
there is a note on the case/box that says this game has software to keep it from being copied?
DarkLord60
It says NOTE:This game contains technology intended to prevent copying.
Astrotoy7
anticopy....humbug ! even the almighty EA anticopy technology is easily bypassed.. If you want to make a copy of YOUR OWN PURCHASED DISC, ie so to avoid scratching your original etc(I often do this), just use nero, or easy cd 5+, to make a backup copy..theres a knack to this though.... if you do it right it should work fine. Otherwise just use a nocd patch.... MTFBWYA But remember kids, ONLY MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF A DISC YOU OWN, that is perfectly legal... if you share or sell copies, then *that* is illegal... Kurgan
Well, it is legal to make one backup copy of software you have legally purchased (and still legally own) for your own personal non profit use (ie: you can't sell it or rent it out or put it up for download). I have backed up my JA CD #1 for just this purpose (using the program CloneCD) and I have no problems using it to play multiplayer. The thing is if I want to play SINGLE PLAYER I HAVE to use the original CD #1. So you shouldn't have any problems with MP. If you're using some cd crack you're on your own though. We don't support that kind of thing here and can provide you with no help on it. Do some research.
