TC problem

I have a problem involving making a character on Test Center (TC). I got the special SWG test folder in C:\Program Files

 

I open it with SWG test instead of just SWG. I download the updates, but when I hit play, I get a message saying something like

 

"We have detected a client crash. If you have not already done so recently, we suggest you hit full scan to do a scan of program files."

 

(I also get this message for regular swg)

 

So for regular SWG I do a full scan, nothing comes up, I hit ok, and the game runs fine. However for TC I hit ok, the screen turns black for a few seconds (the way it does before the Lucasarts logo pops up), and then TC quits...
